Munni Changes Face From Malaika to Mallika

We don't know if Jalebi Bai will be able to soar temperatures as the original Munni, but it is confirmed that Mallika Sherawat will be the 'Badnaam Munni' in Tamil remake of 'Dabangg' !

Munni Badnaam Hui has become a cult of sorts with the amount of popularity it has gained. And we couldn't imagine anyone but Malaika heating up the number with her uber-sexy jhatkas, matkas and sensuality.

2. Jalebi Bai Steps In
And now it has been confirmed that Mallika Sherawat will be dancing to Munni's tunes in the Tamil remake of smash hit Dabangg called Osthi.

Says STR: ' Yes, Mallika has been signed to do the Munni song . We will be shooting it in Ramoji Rao Studio in Hyderabad by the end of the month. Osthi is getting ready for a Diwali release.'

3. Earlier Options
According to sources, earlier, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Vidya Balan were considered for Munni's part. However, they had date problems and Mallika was approached for the sensational track.

Sherawat's last Tamil outing was Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam, which was released in Hindi as Dashavatar.
