Nokia Codes
“NOKIA” is a famous company from Finland. Now this mobile manufacturer is marketing the whole world with its USP that is Mobile Handset. These handsets are very ‘user friendly’. There are some codes for Nokia handset every user should know to use it with more facilities. I am discussing some of them here.

CODES USE OF THE CODE REMARK/INFORMATION
*#06# To check the IMEI Number IMEI No.- International Mobile Equipment Identity Number.

*#67705646# To clear the Operator LOGO. This clears the LCD of your Nokia mobile.

*#2820# To know the ‘blue tooth’ device address.

*#7328748263373738# To reset the ‘Security Code’. Nokia default code is ‘12345’.

*#0000# To view Software version. Displays the software versions installed in your phone.

*#9999# To view Software version if *#0000# is not working.

*#7780# To restore the ‘Factory Settings’.

*#62209526# To display the ‘MAC’ address of the ‘WLAN’ adopter.

Only for the newer handsets which supports ‘WLAN’.

*#7370925538# To reset wallet code if forgot. For NOKIA S60 only.

*#3925538# To delete the code and contents of the wallet.

*#92702689# To view NOKIA’s secret Menu containing your handset information.
This displays the serial number, month and year of manufacture, date of purchase, last repaired date etc of your handset.
*#3370# To activate EFR (Enhanced Full Rate Codec). This strengthens the signal strengths and signal reception in low tower region.

“#pw+1234567890+1#” To check the service provider’s Lock status. To get ‘p’, ‘w’, ‘+’, use ‘*’ button.

“#pw+1234567890+2#” To check the Locking Status of the Network. To get ‘p’, ‘w’, ‘+’, use ‘*’ button.

“#pw+1234567890+3#” To check the Locking status of the Country. To get ‘p’, ‘w’, ‘+’, use ‘*’ button.

“#pw+1234567890+4#” To check the Locking status of the SIM card. To get ‘p’, ‘w’, ‘+’, use ‘*’ button.

*#3370* To deactivate EFR. Your handset will automatically be restarted with 30% increased battery.

*#4720# To activate Half-Rate Codec .

*#2640# To view current phone security code.

*#73# To reset phone timer.
